What should a town hall publish afterward to show that community questions were taken seriously?
A prominent guest can draw attention. The public service is a clear record of local questions, practical resources and what happens after the cameras leave.

I'd also want a record of the answers. People who can't attend should be able to see what was promised.
And who is responsible for the follow through. That is where the public can return to the conversation.
If the questions are all arranged around the guests, that's an interview in front of a crowd.
A town hall should leave room for questions that change the planned conversation.
