I'd be looking for who pays after the founding partners stop covering the excitement.
And whether fans can actually find the next game without doing homework.
Let them have an opening event before demanding a whole league. Every competition has to start somewhere.
It does. But a strong launch and a reliable calendar are different stages. I'm asking what makes the next stage possible.
An opening event can still be a good result. Just don't sell the opening result as proof the whole calendar will work.
