Your take: Carta’s tender offer study and Instacart talks show why an exit needs terms?
The week’s ownership question is not simply whether money can move. It is who can sell, what they give up and what remains after the transaction.

The price is only one term. I want to know how much cash reaches me and what obligations survive.
And which parts are proposed. Don't spend the proceeds from a transaction that hasn't happened.
The obligations that survive the sale can change the result more than another point on the headline price.
Everybody has an exit plan until you ask who is actually buying.
Or what they're allowed to sell. An employee tender and a company sale answer different liquidity questions.
