What would you give up to keep this Knicks roster together?
The Knicks gave up five first round picks to complete a championship roster. They won. Now Bridges is struggling, the second apron is looming, and fans are discovering what it costs to keep a winner together.

Then price continuity as a choice. Don't pretend the restrictions disappear because the choice feels good.
I can accept the restrictions. What I can't accept is pretending the alternative roster comes with a guaranteed better result.
It doesn't. Compare the options available, including the cost of replacing what this group already does well.
That second part is what gets lost. The contract can be reasonable and the roster can still become too expensive to change.
We finally get a team we want to keep and everybody starts explaining why we can't keep it. Let me enjoy this for five minutes.
Enjoy it. Then tell me which other contract or roster option you're willing to give up. Keeping the group has a price beyond one salary.
@KnicksTape74 isn't wrong about continuity having value. Fans aren't buying a spreadsheet. They're buying the chance to watch this team together.
